Lingmala waterfalls.

Mahabaleshwar is a tourist attraction with lot of magnificent places to visit. Lingmala waterfall is one of the best attraction here. It is located 6 km away from Mahabaleshwar city. One can reach to this location through own vehicle or taxies hired at Mahabaleshwar. We pay an entry fee of Rs. 20/- per person here but we can observe that the location is really maintained well by the trust. A well built foothpath leads us to the cliff opposite to this waterfall. There is a small bridge on the stream of waterfall that can be seen on the way. After a walk of 7-10 mins we reach the spot and what we experience is something heavenly. It is a waterfall that falls down from a height of 500 feet with a lot of noise made by its water. We can see a beautiful view of resorts and hotels on the opposite mountain, giving a feel of northen hill spots like darjeeling, manali etc. The waterfall falls in two steps and gives a great view in all the seasons. It is a must see place during Mahabaleshwar visit.

It has two locations 1) Duh (Small waterfall) 2) Dhabdhabha (Big Waterfall) .
There is one small and one big Lingmala Waterfall. From the main entrance you have to walk less than half km through the park to reach the smaller fall, and maybe about a km to reach the bigger one. If you go during the late winter or summer you won't find water flowing through the bigger fall and hardly any water flowing thro' the smaller one. Even then it is worth it to go to this place, since the walk through the park itself is absolutely wonderful. Also when you reach the bigger falls site, you will see a gorgeous view of one of the many M'war valleys.

The falls apparently gets its name from the look of a Lingmala (garland around a Lingam). The best time to visit Lingmala waterfall is July to October (or November) during monsoon season. During the entire rainy season it has a great flow of water. You may experience heavy rainfall and lovely clouds following you during evening.

The 5 Biggest Stock Market Myths

1. Investing in Stocks Is Just Like Gambling.
This reasoning causes many people to shy away from the stock market. To understand why investing in stocks is inherently different from gambling, we need to review what it means to buy stocks. A share of common stock is ownership in a company. It entitles the holder to a claim on assets as well as a fraction of the profits that the company generates. Too often, investors think of shares as simply a trading vehicle, and they forget that stock represents the ownership of a company.

In the stock market, investors are constantly trying to assess the profit that will be left over for shareholders. This is why stock prices fluctuate. The outlook for business conditions is always changing, and so are the future earnings of a company.

2. The Stock Market Is an Exclusive Club For Brokers and Rich People.
Many market advisors claim to be able to call the markets' every turn. The fact is that almost every study done on this topic has proven that these claims are false. Most market prognosticators are notoriously inaccurate; furthermore, the advent of the internet has made the market much more open to the public than ever before. All the data and research tools previously available only to brokerages are now there for individuals to use.

Actually, individuals have an advantage over institutional investors because individuals can afford to be long-term oriented. The big money managers are under extreme pressure to get high returns every quarter. Their performance is often so scrutinized that they can't invest in opportunities that take some time to develop. Individuals have the ability to look beyond temporary downturns in favor

3. Fallen Angels Will Go Back up, Eventually.
Whatever the reason for this myth's appeal, nothing is more destructive to amateur investors than thinking that a stock trading near a 52-week low is a good buy. Think of this in terms of the old Wall Street adage, "Those who try to catch a falling knife only get hurt."

4. Stocks That Go up Must Come Down.
The laws of physics do not apply in the stock market. There's no gravitational force to pull stocks back to even. Over 10 years ago, Berkshire Hathaway's stock price went from $6,000 to $10,000 per share in a little more than a year. Had you thought that this stock was going to return to its lower initial position, you would have missed out on the subsequent rise to $70,000 per share over the following six years.

5. A Little Knowledge Is Better Than None
Knowing something is generally better than nothing, but it is crucial in the stock market that individual investors have a clear understanding of what they are doing with their money. Investors who really do their homework are the ones that succeed.

Don't fret, if you don't have the time to fully understand what to do with your money, then having an advisor is not a bad thing. The cost of investing in something that you do not fully understand far outweighs the cost of using an investment advisor.

The Bottom Line
Forgive us for ending with more investing clichés, but there's another old adage worth repeating: "What's obvious is obviously wrong." This means that knowing a little bit will only have you following the crowd like a lemming. Like anything worth anything, successful investing takes hard work and effort. Think of a partially informed investor as a partially informed surgeon; the mistakes could be severely injurious to your financial health.

Automated car...

A man ordered for a voice automated robot car that does anything he tells it to do correctly without any error.
He got the car and started sending it on errands. He became very proud of what the car could do without mistakes.
One day, he was home and his wife told him to tell the car to go and pick the children from school as she was very tired.
The man agreed and said to the car; Car, go and bring my children from school.
The car went and didn't return in time as expected, they knew something must be wrong.
Several hours later and no car, the man became apprehensive.
He dressed up and got ready to lodge a report at the police station. As he and his wife stepped outside they saw the car coming with an overload of children.
The car parked right in front of them and said; "These are your children sir". In the car were their Landlady's two daughters, their choir mistress's two sons, his wife's best friend's daughter, their pastor's son and their neighbors two sons.
The Wife said; Don't tell me all these are your children ?.
The man asked her calmly; Can you first tell me why our children are not in the car? :P :D

Tomatoes Businessssss.....

A Jobless man applied for the Job of
"Office boy" at Microsoft
The HR Interviewed him then
watched him cleaning the floor as a
test
"You are employed" He said. "Give
me your E-mail Address and I'll
send you the forms to fill in as well
as when you may start
The Man replied "But I don't have
computer, neither an Email."
"I'm Sorry", said the HR Manager,
"If you don't have an Email, that
means you don't exist. and who
doesn't exist, cannot have the Job."
The man left with no hope at all. He
didn't know what to do with only
$10 in his pocket.
He then decided to go to the
supermarket and buy a 10 kg
Tomato crate.
He then sold the tomatoes in a door
to door round.
In less than two hours, He
succeeded to double his capital. He
repeated the operation three times
and returned home with $ 60
The man realized that he can survive
this way, and started to go everyday
earlier and return late.
Thus his money doubled or tripled
everyday.
Shortly, He brought a cart, then a
truck, then he had his own fleet of
vehicles.
5 years later, this man is one of the
biggest food retailers in the US.
He started to plan his family future,
and decided to have a life
insurance. He called an insurance
broker, and chose a protection plan.
When the conversation was
concluded, the broker asked him his
email. The man replied "I don't have
an email"
The broker answered curiously,"You
don't have an email, and yet have
succeeded to build an empire. Can
you imagine what you could have
been if you had an email?!"
The man thought for a while and
replied,"Yes, I'd be an office boy at
Microsoft" ;)
Moral of the story :
1) INTERNET/Email/Bbm/Whatsapp
is not the solution to your Life
2) If you don't have internet/Email/
Bbm/whatsapp, and work hard, you
can be Millionaire
3) If you received this Message by
Email/Bbm/Whatsapp, you're
probably already an office boy/Girl,
and not any close to being a
Billionaire
P.S : i m starting my business of tomatoes :P :D

If Time Could Rewind ...

Dedicated to all those who completed Training in Infosys with me...

Sometime ago we joined a Company.
to earn few penny and gain some knowledge.
Afar from home in the cold chilly weather
At heaven of Mysore we all got together.

The morning rush with the roommate
Racing the cycle for not getting late
The torture started at the strike of nine
We survived by keeping mails online

The afternoon session was really an overkill
Since Mysore food was indeed a sleeping pill
Submitting the assignments was a total waste
As we followed the magic trick of copy-paste.

The junk forwards continued to flow
We waited whole week for the new movie show
Along with friends when everything was quiet
We roamed around the campus till the late night.

The modules and compre didn’t let us sleep
Some cleared away while others had to weep
Results came out, no more hosting
We had to leave, as per the posting.

Battle for swap then began soon
Mailboxes spammed by every goon
Giving last look to the gratifying paradise
The Infy guests left with the watery eyes.

We all settled down in the different places
Though memories of Mysore left in the traces.
New friends and colleagues now we have made
The old intimacy is slowly going fade

Time gone by since we had a start
Moments of past is stirring my heart
In the noisy world today am losing my mind
The last wish I make, if time could rewind
