Order of streams
1)open systems (os) dnt ever dream dat yu get dis stream
2)dot net theory sub. Need to work hard
3)mainframes its extremely new technology fr us and 2nd most dif stream but a diff one where u will get a chance to interact with server directly,which is d special thing in MF(but u will love dis stream if u r trained in Bangalore instead of Mysore like me)
4)java finacle heard its tough
5)jee its progrmatical so dnt wrry
6)mf,ims easy
7)ES,which consists of sub streams like SAP,ORACLE...

Your Salary varies depending on ur CGPA,So plan accordingly.
1)if cgpa>=4 and <4.5-- 32,000 wil be ur first month sal after trainin...
2)f cgpa>=4.5 and <4.95--35,000
3)if cgpa>=4.95 to 5 --- 40,000....dis sounds gud....aim fr 5....
its only d 1st month salary after trainin..
For 2nd month it will be..
1)23k
2)23.5 k
3)24 k

Some helpful info for new joinees..

* Before you join infy make sure u have all your documents ready.
* Only 2 people along with you can enter the gate(GATE-2) and they will hav to wait until u
 finish all ur procedure at the near by food court(Fiesta)
* you will need only a photo and ID proof(original) at the entrance
* your luggage and you will be transported to the main building for room allocation and issue
of ID cards. Here make sure you enter with your friends,
there are chances you get the same room(happened to most of them)
ASK THEM IF U AND UR FRIEND WANT ROOM IN SAME FLOOR,IF THERE S POSSIBILITY THEN THEY WILL DEFINITELY GIVE:)
* you are free the whole day and can roam around or get back to your parents if they are
waiting for you.
* Your induction(orientation) program goes on for a week.
* During induction you will be asked to submit the various documents that you were asked to
carry.
* You will receive a mail a week before joining, regarding the medical test. Best advice is
 find out the kind of tests and get it done from any of the big hospitals
(columbia asia, fortis)
 else you can wait for the list of hospitals and test to be mailed.

 All these facilities are there in your room
        Towel, bed sheet, bed covers,pillows,pillow cover, quilt, coffee and tea sachets
 with sugar (daily 1 each), bathing towel, 6 hangers, doormat, coffee and tea maker,
a cup, glass, spoon, table lamp, wall clock,lcd TV, basket fir dirty clothes, Almirah
 with electronic locker, all out for mosquitos, water bottle, table nd study chair , sofa,
 bath room with western toilet shower....

Keys for getting good score @ infy..

1.listen to class and understand topics(this will solve 60 % of ur effort during preparation for modules) 
2.read appendix and footnotes without fail in slides( For those who want 4.5 and above cgpa)
3-you'll have self assessment everyday,take it without fail and learn things you r weak at..
4.IMPORTANT POINT-meet seniors and ask for snippets by mail.. Read them but not BLINDLY.. Some answers may be wrong.. But it teaches you lots n lots of things n helps for objective test.. :-)
Execute the snippets side by side to be sure of the answer..

5.In the main objective test, finish the theory questions first by browsing through all
questions.. Den the 2m quests then come back to 1m quest.. :-)
6.while studying when you have a head ache jus leave class, there's always a saturation point
n we need to accept it..
Infosys hardly terminates anyone due to lack of marks, they give u retest, retraining n all,
which are more than enough but if u still dont clear the exams, u will resign urself getting
bore of d the training thing...
 ***Try to maintain 12 hrs of Avg working Hrs,because it will help u a lot if u r in bench after posting.
